Welcome to the website for the Rogers Park Metra Community Garden, a project to restore and expand a community garden at the Rogers Park Metra Station on Chicago’s Far North Side. The project is a joint effort of community residents living near the station, riders, and members of the Rogers Park Garden Group (RPGG). Overall supervision of the Garden is the responsibility of the Rogers Park Metra Community Garden Committee.
This site is designed to provide information, updates, and interactive features concerning the history and continued development of the garden. Click on one of the tabs to learn more.
For 2010, we are updating this site pretty much top to bottom, so please be patient. We spent more time in the garden than online over the last year!
